About

The Full Story

People say I am like a cat... because a cat has 'nine lives'. That perfectly describes who Kailynn Thomas is... I have been in the hospital 4 times by the age of 23. I am a young woman who has experienced, seen, and done more things than a normal being has. This is my opportunity to share my stories, help people shift their mindset, and get out to experience this beautiful planet. That combination is my definition of Werbow.

The early morning of August 21st 2021, I was in a traumatic electric motorcycle accident. As a passenger with no helmet on, I was rushed to Tustin trauma center, after flying off the back of the vehicle, face first into a parked truck. I woke up 10 days later, with confusion on where I was, what happened, and what was to come next. Initially the doctors told my family and the police that they were unsure what my chances were. I suffered from severe brain damage, shattered jaw, and knocked out four of my front teeth. This created panic through out all my family and friends. Luckily, I came out of the hospital like I never went in. It took some time to remember certain events, peoples names whom I havn't seen in awhile, and minor day to day responsibilities. To this day I am still struggling with mental health, surgeries, and what I am suppose to be in this life. Aside from all that, I was extremely lucky. I know I survived for a reason, I was not quite finished making my mark on this earth.

This is the story of why I started a blog. To get my word out about overcoming obstacles, how to take things with a grain of salt, and fill your life with gratitude. Without gratitude, you are mindlessly walking on this planet, being thankful for every little detail goes a long way. There is no human on this planet that is perfect, everyone has their own ways of expressing themselves to others. It is how you move on and handle your challenges, is what defines you. We are with ourselves more than anyone else in our lives, be kind. No matter what road bumps you hit though out your day, perspective is key.

People are so afraid of the unknown and new change. I am a strong believer that things happen for a reason. For the amount of time human beings have been on this earth... we get one chance and it is not that long. Wouldn't you want to look back and be proud of the life you lived? Change makes you that much more wiser and gives you more perceptive. I walk and talk the way I want people to see me, to inspire and motivate people to live their best lives. If someone doesn't like that, that's okay, it's not that serious. Mental health is no joke, once you learn that you can not change events or people out of your control, so much weight will be taken off your shoulders. Hopefully, the way I describe things will shift your mind to better thinking. I have found all these points extremely helpful and I am hoping to spread peace of mind.
